Troop 42 is a combined boy and girl troop (Part of the Pacific Skyline Council program that allows scouts of all genders to be registered as one troop) welcome you to our website! You are welcome to join us from Cub Scouts or if you are brand new to scouting! If you have questions before joining, please click the Contact Us link first. Please arrange to meet us and come to a meeting or to talk to us by phone for more information..
Once you are ready to join our Troop, please see the information below, for the parent/legal guardian to complete. If you have questions, please contact us and we can help.
Instructions:
- Please complete the Troop Registration Survey google form first. (Read the included Troop Guidebook)
- Send Troop registration fees via Venmo. For new members, there is a $100 new scout fee. Please make these payable via Venmo. (Annual troop dues will be collected separately in August.)
3. Register with the BSA:

4. Fill out Medical Forms : As part of the registration process, please complete Parts A, B1, and B2 of the BSA Health & Medical Form, including copies of the front and back of your scout’s insurance card. Part C of this form requires a physicians signature and are NOT due at the time of joining. We will collect these prior to summer camp.
5. Click here to upload medical forms and fill out our New Member Checklist and email membership@troop42sm.org when complete! You’ll expect to hear back from our membership coordinator with your Troop 42 website login. We look forward to your Scout joining us at meetings and outings once these are completed!
